The Happiness jar

Nsisong Effiong2 September 2015
I made a happiness jar Out of an old lotion container; transparent, label peeled off, cover glued shut Just a slit for the memories to slide in and breathe
That day the sun was feeling fussy, Yawning and stretching in the sky, Just before mid day, I was the first to see you - I like to think that anyway You walked in and asked if you could sit with me.
I washed my hands, folded that moment and slipped it into the happiness jar.
